Joseph A. Cimino, M.D., received his medical degree from the University of Navarra School of Medicine in Pamplona, Spain, and his Ph.D. from the University of California Medical Center in San Francisco. He completed his residency in Pediatrics at Rutgers Medical School in New Jersey with an additional residency in Child Neurology at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Dr. Cimino completed a fellowship in Genetics and Metabolism at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, a MRI fellowship at the University of South Florida and an advanced mini-fellowship in epilepsy at Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Board certified in Neurology with special qualification in Child Neurology, Dr. Cimino is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics; a Diplomate of the American Academy of Neurology; and a member of the Child Neurology Society.
