

Dr. Htay completed his medical school in Yangon, Myanmar. He finished my internship and residency training in internal medicine at Bergen Regional Medical Center in Paramus, NJ and infectious disease fellowship at Shands Hospital in Jacksonville. After concluding his fellowship training, Dr. Htay worked as an Assistant Professor in Infectious Disease Department at Shands Hospital in Jacksonville for three years. Then moved to Florence, South Carolina, where he was in private practice with multi-specialty group for seven years. Dr. Htay's special interests include bone and joint infections, mycobacterial infections, and HIV infection. He is board certified in infectious disease.
