After serving four years in the U.S. Air Force, Dr. Mallette completed his medical education at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed a three-year residency at Western Reserve Care System and Youngstown Osteopathic Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio. Dr. Mallette's training includes medical treatment of foot pathology, reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle, treatment of sports-related injuries, and diabetic foot care with emphasis on wound care and limb salvage. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association.
