Francisco R. Ruiz, M.D,. received his medical degree in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of South Alabama and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Tennessee. He performs endoscopic procedures including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy and ERCP. He has a special interest in liver disease with treatment of Hepatitis C. Dr. Ruiz is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
