THOMAS F SCHEER MD, PhD, FACRO received his medical training at the Medical College of Georgia. He accomplished residency at the University of Utah Medical Center. He has practiced in the Southeast for most of his 30 year career. He is trained and experienced in almost all classical and modern modalities of Radiation Oncology, including Gamma Knife radiosurgery, which he studied in Stockholm Sweden. His career has spanned several venues, including large hospital practice, academic medicine, and small, rural stand alone clinics. His particular area of interest is combined modality therapy for cancer. He works with the physicians of OMNI to integrate chemotherapy and biologic therapies into a seamless web of care and support for his patients.
Brian R. Bement, RTT, ASRT, ARRT, has over 22 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist treating cancerous and benign neoplasms with therapeutic doses of accurately delivered radiation.
Brian believes that an empathetic approach in patient care serves to care for the mind and spirit, in addition to caring for the specific area of the body in order to give patients the best chance at fighting their disease.
For over two decades, Brian has worked in the field of Radiation Therapy caring for thousands of patients. He continues to maintain the highest level of competency and knowledge in the delivery of the latest advancements in radiation treatment applications.
Brian is a Certified Radiation Therapist in the States of Florida, Rhode Island, and New Jersey. He received his degree from the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York and is a member of both the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) and the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
In his spare time, Brian enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children, bicycling and working as a soccer referee.
